As your counsellor I would offer a safe, comfortable and respectful space for us to work together at your pace. We would explore your thoughts, emotions and deep rooted patterns of behaviour to help you to understand why you felt challenged, establish coping strategies and change and reduce the impact and the chance of the same problems repeating themselves.
My training in Transactional Analysis, Person Centred, CBT, Psychodynamic and Mindfulness since 2007 allows me to work with both brief and open ended counselling with a wide range of techniques to offer and as an accredited counsellor I am bound by the BACP professional code of ethics and conduct. This requires that I attend regular and ongoing development training courses and supervision, which keeps me up to date with new information to enable me to better understand your concern and offer you the best service possible.
I have undertaken multiple enhanced additional training courses including, working with clients with an ADHD or Autism diagnosis to feel more confident with social and relationship interactions, supporting clients progressing through the Transgender process, supporting clients who are dealing with fertility challenges and adoption, menopause and grief and bereavement.
